Course objectives
The goal of this course is twofold:

1. To integrate technology into undergraduate teaching. This not only means learning how to use the multiple types of new technology available, but also when it is appropriate to use it.
2. To encourage professional development through the design and development of personal websites and departmental advising websites.

The course is divided into two subsections.  Weeks 1 through 5 are devoted to exploration of digital and internet-based resources.  Weeks 6 through 9 are devoted to mastering other electronic instructional technologies.

Course projects
Students registered for the class will be asked to design and upload their professional website. Also, as a class, we will be designing a Teaching with Technology advising page for the Linguistics Department.
