About me
I'm a Ph.D. student in the Department of Linguistics at UCLA in Los Angeles, California. My research interests include prosody and its interfaces, learning and acquisition of language, particularly phonetics/phonology, computational linguistics, and the music/language interface.
Before joining the linguistics department, I studied chemistry and physics at Stanford University as an undergraduate. I also did research in the Stanford chemistry department, the Stanford Genome Technology Center, and the Department of Biophysics at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg.
Outside of linguistics, my primary hobby is playing music. I play the violin and the piano.
