Research Interests

 

syntactic theory: the structure and identity of embedded clauses, locality, constraints on movement, theory of merge and move

syntax/semantics interface: definiteness/specificity effects, NPIs and locality, constraints on covert movement

semantics: definiteness and presupposition, semantics of modals and conditionals, licensing of subjunctives
